This Post Doesn't Have a Title on It

The spirits of holiday is coming to an end!  This is fine, even acceptable, but the very thought of going back to normal life is still aching for some of us. I do hope for a better year for all the friends from blogoshere. If you are reading this, thank you for your visit. Encouraged by my other half, I set my sights on attending a course this year and I am kind of terrified of this new step. I don’t mean to leave behind my dear blog but my gibberish posts a.k.a photos of my travels may be delayed. Perhaps it is about time to talk about food from my last trip, such as Panini, Fried cheese and a few set menu from McDonald, Selection of Cheese and Wine from the hotel, Fried Noodle from Wasabi, Scone, Pancake, and Christmas Cake, all of which I miss extremely nowadays!

Fish and Chips

Not all of us are born into liking fish, but sometimes one must accept for what is considered the best available option, fish and chips.  It is, in fact, my other half’s situation when it comes to fish. As the name suggests, it is actually fried battered fish and chips with salad or beans. As for me, even if I don’t feel like eating food, the thought of having this very dish always makes me happy.  Our favorite has to be the following, which we had it at one shopping mall in London. Jacket Potatoes served with salad is very rich and hot tea leaves our tummy warm.

Our first-runner up for fish and chips has to be from Chippy. We had this on our way to Loch Ness. We got the sense of knowing the food will be delicious when we smell the butter from their kitchen and it was delicious as the crust and the chips are so buttery.

It is hard to breakthrough the clutter of eating fish and chips those days, but any food joints that offer fish and chips is the place for me to have a meal. I quite like the crunchy layer and peas from Oxford as well.

The other two places were from Edinburgh. As usual, fish and chips with a pot of tea and I was neither disappointed nor pleased. It was ok dishes and the ambiance at the shop and at the Christmas Market is good for having meals.

Landing in my fish and chips list is the shop near Trafalgar square. Of course with its price, it is not at all a bad deal.

The most unpopular fish and chips of my list would be from Greenwich. The fish, the combination peas and chips and the not-so-hospitable-host do not make it worth our visit.

Temptation

If your love for pen rules your consciousness then please check out this MontBlanc website.  These up-market pens are so lovely, elegant but not so affordable, at least, for me… and yet I still have this impulse to look at them everywhere possible. I can’t believe that the company started since 1908 and was later acquired by Dunhill in 1977. Since then, their marketing strategy has changed focusing on luxury goods other than pens. White six-pointed star with round edges representing snowcap of Mont Blanc is their trademark and sometimes it is specially made with diamond. We can engrave the pen and ask for simple technical assistance at the boutiques. But then we can always buy 20$ pen and get our pen engraved at Tokyu department store, right? You see, I can’t really write a post by not putting a bunch of photos and actually, that’s where all my glee moment begins. A few days back, I took those pictures at Siam Paragon where MontBlanc exhibits to celebrate the 20th edition of MontBlanc “Patron of Art” collection. Aren’t they tempting?

Happy Halloween!!!

I have been downloading the wall paper for my phone and in love with the following holiday theme. The lady with the broomstick? Well, I don't usually look like that aside from the time doing house chores, lol.
