An Escapade in Lion City - 2

Another escapade in Lion city for me is the orchid garden in Singapore Botanic Gardens. Botanic Gardens MRT is just adjacent to the gardens and the entrance fee to the orchids is only 5S$ for adult and free for children below 12 years. It opens daily from 8:30 am to 7pm. It was definitely one of my favorite places in Singapore though it was hot the day I was there.  I could, for sure, spend another half day there by looking at those gorgeous orchids and would go there again.

Welcome to Gardens by the Bay, the place where you can explore a variety of plants, where wonder blooms! Access to most gardens is free except for OCBC Skyway and Cooled Conservatories. Standard rate for two conservatories for adult is S$ 28 for tourists and S$ 20 for local residents and OCBC Skyway is S$ 5. Here is the good news for people residing in Singapore: well, you can always buy the annual pass by paying just S$ 68 for individual pass and S$180 for family pass (2 adults and 3 children). Of course, annual pass means unlimited admission into the two conservatories and OCBC Skyway for one year. Due to time constraint, I could not get the ticket for Skywalk and yes, spending a few hours in the conservatories is just not enough for me and I wish I could go there again.
