Ficus Tree - Pindaya

Returning from Shwe U Min cave to Conqueror hotel turned out to be a blast thanks to the great Ficus trees outside the hotel.  I was super thrilled by the views, especially the one that revealed the sequential moments of a young boy cycling towards the trees. Of course, I became enticed by the kids from the neighborhood and my fellow travelers’ photo shoots. It was my first time there and considered one of the most beautiful scenes during my trip.

Shwe U Min Cave

This is a post that I should show off my knowledge about the Shwe U Min cave, the pagodas, etc. and instead, I allow the readers know how suck I am in everything. The incidence reminds me of my recent visit to Emerald Buddha, Wat Pho and Wat Arun with one of my dear friends. I had little time to refresh all the facts via Internet and thus I failed to impress my dear friend, who kindly laughed it off to ease my misery. Likewise, I hope the readers could comprehend my lack of knowledge about the cave and enjoy the following photos.

Walk around Shwe U Min Cave

Shwe U Min cave welcomes a lot of visitors in Shan state and I particularly like, of course, to walk around the shops, which sell pickled tea leaves, dried tea leaves, various snacks, and cotton longyi, etc. All the shops are found on the way to Shwe U Min cave a.k.a Golden cave and the people who run the shops are friendly and hospitable. As terribly indecisive as I always am, I couldn’t decide which shops have the best pickled tea leaves, tea leaves and snacks, and as such I bought them from different shops, lol!!!

Homage to Kone Lone Sayartaw

With this post, I simply want to share a few pictures from the trip to pay homage to Kone Lone Sayartaw.

I can't help but to post the following snapshot of my young compatriot's smile when she saw me taking her picture at the entrance of the monastery!!!!
