Windsor Castle

Going to Windsor Castle is quite easy. We just took a bus No. 702 from Victoria Coach Station at 10 a.m and arrived to Windsor around 11:30. The only inconvenience that we had was when the chauffeur politely refused to take our Scottish Pound Notes and asked for English Pound Notes. The shops from Windsor accepted the notes from Bank of Scotland anyway. Offhand I recall seeing the bell from Mandalay when I visited Windsor Castle. They don’t allow taking pictures inside St. George’s Chapel, Queen Mary’s Dolls House, which I utterly love, and State Apartments. Of all things, it is a popular tourist attraction for its architecture and I would say it is a must see for everyone except someone who think every castle looks alike.

Christmas Market - Bath

This is the final post about Christmas markets, which I have been wandering during my trip and with this post, I would like to thank you my other half for dragging me there. Lured by the beauty of Roman Bath, I spent more time than expected in the complex and that would explain fewer photos for the markets, naturally. Alas, I had 10 minutes to eat my lunch from the Pasties shop around the corner and those are really delicious. The shop appearance and cheap price may be misleading, but whatever it lacks in decoration is made up for the taste. Although I was happy with my choice of baguette, I was even happier with the two puffs that my other half chose. Of course, the food might not be the finest the world can give; it is still good for grabbing a bite, which will put you in a gleeful mood.

Christmas Market - Edinburgh

The most wonderful part of going to Christmas market is not just shopping. Rather, it is eating the snacks available from various booths, drinking coffee or mulled wine, watching people spreading holiday spirit and after all, sharing those happy moments with everyone. Finding the perfect way to celebrate the season with loved ones at Edinburgh is not too hard as well, since the Scottish capital is truly beautiful. The German market, Edinburgh wheel, and Winter Wonderland complete the capital’s winter attraction and I hope the tradition continues for many years to come!!!
