Hong Kong Disneyland, Fantasyland

Mickey, Minnie, Winnie the Pooh, etc., the most popular Disney characters can be found in Fantasyland and if you have a baby girl, it is one of the must-see attraction of Disneyland.  The Fantasyland has a lot of attractions to keep the young kids occupied as the rides are targeted for that particular age group. I believe their marketing plan is successful, as I prefer Universal Studios than Disneyland. Thus, even if I have a chance to go to Disneyland, Hong Kong again, I will give it a miss next time.

It’s a small world: Queue for the ride, which sail in a journey to enjoy the different culture costumed dolls.

Mickey’s PhilharMagic is a 3 D animated film, similar to the Shrek 4D from Universal Studios. Despite the queue, we did watch it twice that day.

The Golden Mickeys: It is a musical which pay tribute to famous Disney characters like Mulan, Lilo and Stitch, etc. Waiting time? At least 30 minutes and people seem to ignore the queue etiquette.

Fantasy Gardens: We did not enter the Fantasy Garden, where we can meet our favorite Disney heroes and heroines, for lack of time.

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh: As usual, we had to queue for a “hunny” of an adventure, riding along in Pooh’s hunny pot in canal-like environment.

Sleeping Beauty Castle

I am not sure it was closed or we couldn’t find the way into the castle of Aurora. Either way, we thought we have more time for another attractions and headed to the Mad Hatter Tea Cups.

Mad Hatter Tea Cups: Motion sickness, or no motion sickness, the oversized teacups mean no harm and spin mostly gently.

Dumbo the Flying Elephant: Yet another spinner of Disneyland and thus we only took pictures of the loveable elephants. Then we headed to Adventureland, and gave a miss to the Sword in the Stone, to test our fortitude and Snow White Grotto.
