Fish and Chips

Not all of us are born into liking fish, but sometimes one must accept for what is considered the best available option, fish and chips.  It is, in fact, my other half’s situation when it comes to fish. As the name suggests, it is actually fried battered fish and chips with salad or beans. As for me, even if I don’t feel like eating food, the thought of having this very dish always makes me happy.  Our favorite has to be the following, which we had it at one shopping mall in London. Jacket Potatoes served with salad is very rich and hot tea leaves our tummy warm.

Our first-runner up for fish and chips has to be from Chippy. We had this on our way to Loch Ness. We got the sense of knowing the food will be delicious when we smell the butter from their kitchen and it was delicious as the crust and the chips are so buttery.

It is hard to breakthrough the clutter of eating fish and chips those days, but any food joints that offer fish and chips is the place for me to have a meal. I quite like the crunchy layer and peas from Oxford as well.

The other two places were from Edinburgh. As usual, fish and chips with a pot of tea and I was neither disappointed nor pleased. It was ok dishes and the ambiance at the shop and at the Christmas Market is good for having meals.

Landing in my fish and chips list is the shop near Trafalgar square. Of course with its price, it is not at all a bad deal.

The most unpopular fish and chips of my list would be from Greenwich. The fish, the combination peas and chips and the not-so-hospitable-host do not make it worth our visit.

I always go with fish and chips if I have to choose among other unknown items. You can't go too wrong with that. Right?
Happy New year!
