Prommitr Film Studio -Setting

Though I felt discouraged at the magnitude of the language used in King Naresuan film, it hasn’t stopped me going the production studio, which is situated at Kachanaburi province, Thailand. The Prommitr Film Studio plans to become one of the tourist attractions in that province and for the moment, it attracts mostly local population. Getting around the studio is a little bit painful for me due to hot weather and the earth roads, but I am not complaining, really, since it still worth a visit.
If you have watched the movie (Part III), please don’t throw away the ticket as you can get 50% discount on the entrance fee during April. It doesn't matter if you haven't seeing that the prices are affordable: Adult Thai national has to pay 100 Bahts, and 50 Bahts for children under 12 years. 200 Bahts for foreigners is reasonably priced, I might say.
To tell you the truth, I am impressed with their ability to construct most of the decorations by using foam, thus, mostly, we are not allowed to touch them. The only drawback in visiting the studio is the transportation: we can’t easily get a taxi or buses from Kachanaburi city  downtown to the studio. In my opinion, it is better to go with the arranged tour or drive your own car and visit there on public holidays, because they have more activities like traditional dance, the market, etc. on those days.
