Yangon Zoo

That day, a large coffee cup was placed in front of me, and a small bowl of soup was placed in front of my youngest nephew. I leaned back in the chair and listened to what he had to say: the usual words of how much he likes the snacks, the shoes, and shirts I bought for him. I continued to listen his chitchat and found out he had never been to the zoo. So I ended my conversation by saying “I will bring you to the zoo tomorrow”, and I kept that promise. The zoo entrance fee is 500 Kyats per person, and we have to pay100 Kyats for the camera and 300 Kyats for the video camera. Overall, I had a blast listening to what he had to say that whole day like “TT this, TT that” and imitating the various animals voice.  For lunch, we kept our option open and finally chose to eat the not-so-great chicken Biryani with tea and we left the zoo around 2:30 p.m. Of course, his mom had to tell him white lies saying it is closed and we all have to leave now. It is a shame though we couldn’t keep up our spirits with his level.
