Father's Day - 5th December

Today, December 5th is Father’s Day, which is the birthday of His Majesty King Bhumibol Aduyadej, in Thailand. As it is a national holiday, my other half suggested going to Pattaya, yes, again. Here is how we spent the day: took the minivan bus from Victory Monument, reached to the beach 1 hour and 45 minutes later, sat and had lunch by the beach, walked around Central departmental store, Royal Garden Plaza and the beach, and finally took the minivan bus again to return back to Bangkok. By the way, I am not loving the chicken swirl from Auntie Anne. Overall, it turned out to be a blast, and I thanked my other half for his thoughtfulness. Since we were tired, we decided to stay @ home tonight and watched fireworks from TV broadcasting live from the festival @ the Chaophraya river, which was very beautiful and impressive indeed.
